Dutchess

My friend's blue-nosed pit bull which he almost named 'Diamond'. If you're going to name a dog Diamond, you may as well name her Diva. I'd say Dutchess is much better.

Today, I scheduled an interview with a company for a Product Marketing Coordinator position. I was super excited. Then I googled the company only to find it listed on ripoffreports.com and on failuremagazine.blogspot.com to beware of scams.

Go figure!

Very Light and Delicious

I've been working at this Thai restaurant for a little over a month now and I always avoid wearing short sleeve shirts because the plates are so heavy and I don't want to look overly jacked (my arms can tend to look very 'cut' according to comments in the past). However, last week was so ridiculously hot, I had to wear a short sleeve shirt.

I should've seen this coming..

One night last week I was holding the dessert tray, made of metal and rather heavy, for these customers and I was telling them that this one dessert is "very light and delicious" and one of the guys says:

"It doesn't look very light.. your muscles are bulging and your veins are popping out like they're about to wrap around your neck and strangle you!"

And all i could even think of to say was "Well, that'd be a problem then, wouldn't it?"

...I mean, what do you say to that?
